Generational Comparison

As I’ve been scanning Granny’s slides, this photograph jumped out at me.  Not because it’s a great shot, but because it immediately reminded me of my own photo which I posted last October.  I wonder if everybody takes photographs of bins, or if it’s just us Simpsons?

Incidentally, and if anybody’s interested, there’s a raw copy of the scanned image here.  I hope people don’t mind me cleaning these shots up before I post them.

Movember

So, it’s November.  Moustache Season.  I have always fancied growing a mo’.  You know, just to see how it looks.  After all, I’ve had (in order of size) a soul patch, a goatee, a vandyke and a full beard, so why not a ‘tache?  Well, the picture shows why not, all I see is this:
